Dopo i recenti successi con “The Moments I’m Missing” e “The Best You Had”, brani che in pochissime settimane hanno superato i 25milioni degli 85milioni di streaming Spotify, Nina Nesbitt presenta “Somebody Special”, il terzo e nuovo brano che anticipa il disco in uscita in primavera per Cooking Vinyl/Edel. Suonato in anteprima mercoledì 10 gennaio da Beats1/Apple Music, “Somebody Special”, ora disponibile in tutte le piattaforme digitali, mostra come Nina Nesbitt sia perfettamente a suo agio nel modern-pop R&B. Tra i suoi fan, Chloë Grace Moretz e Taylor Swift, che hanno inserito il brano “The Best You Had” tra le “favourite tracks” di Spotify ed Apple.

Scritto dalla stessa Nina Nesbitt a Nashville, con la collaborazione del produttore Dan Muckala, “Somebody Special”is about when you’ve been feeling a bit low and then you meet this person who changes everything. It’s about those first few months where everything you do together feels so exciting. You could be sitting in a dive bar drinking cheap cider, driving about in a broken down car, or sitting at home in your tracksuit, but you somehow feel like you’re having the best time because the feeling of falling in love sugar coats everything.” afferma Nina.

Cresciuta in un piccolo paese nei dintorni di Edinburgo, Nina Nesbitt arriva al successo nel 2014 con “Peroxide”, il disco di debutto che si classifica immediatamente tra i Top 15 debut album. Due anni dopo arriva l’EP “Life in Colour” ed entro il 2018 Nina Nesbitt pubblicherà il nuovo disco che sta prendendo forma brano dopo brano. “Somebody Special” è infatti il terzo pezzo composto, dopo “The Moments I’m Missing” e “The Best You Had”.

Dopo alcuni live a novembre, tra cui l’incredibile concerto sold-out alla London Camden Assembly in soli cinque minuti dal suo annuncio, Nina Nesbitt torna in tour a maggio per una serie di prime date inglesi.
