Nils Frahm annuncia oggi l’odierna pubblicazione in digitale di “Encores 1”, cinque delicatissime composizioni realizzate negli ultimi due anni, tra la costruzione del nuovo studio presso lo storico Funkhaus a Berlino e la composizione di “All Melody”, il settimo acclamato album di studio pubblicato a fine gennaio.

“The idea behind Encores is one we had from before All Melody; to do three releases each with their own distinct musical style and theme, perhaps even as a triple album. But All Melody became larger than itself and took over any initial concepts.” “Encores 1” si concentra soprattutto su armonium e pianoforte: “I think the idea of Encores is like musical islands that compliment All Melody” afferma Nils Frahm.
